Randy Wise

1st Place Shooter “Randy Wise” using an A.B.R. on his custom PISTOL to place FIRST in a… RIFLE MATCH!

“We had a cold and breezy but great long range rifle match today at Briar Rabbit Shooting Sports in Zanesville Ohio. There were a lot of great scores shot but my KGM Technologies coated McGowen Barreled 223 Savage Handgun shot lights out and got me the win. This was the first match for the handgun with the Long Shot Precision ABR attached and it preformed flawlessly. I only dropped two shots today which is the closest I've been this year to a perfect score. Both dropped shots were operator error so maybe next match. Briar Rabbit puts on a great match and is the perfect place for anyone wanting to get started in long range shooting. Targets range from 200 to 540 yards and vary in size with different point values.

Championship rifle

“I finally had some time to work on my new Savage Arms Elite Precision chambered in 338 Lapua and I think this is going to be a lot of fun. This rifle was supplied to me by Savage Arms for use in the 2020 NRA/ELR National Match after setting the ELR Central World Record in the 2019 National Match with a factory Savage I bought used from a shooting buddy. Due COVID-19 the 2020 NRA/ELR National Match and several others were canceled so it was put on the back burner for a while. This year it looks like things will be back to normal and I will once again be making the trip to the NRA/ELR National Match where I will be competing with this outstanding rifle. Modular Driven Technologies - MDT also contributed to this rifle with the needed accessories to get the rifle properly weighted and balanced. As you can see this thing is a shooter and I’m really looking forward to stretching its legs a little. The first 3 shots in the group all cut the same hole with the 4th shot being a damn it shot.”
